Privilege of belief

Some people have the privilege of trusting God. Their lives are Pre-packaged with advantage and opportunity. Resources pad the otherwise rationale for belief.

Others of us are drafted into faith. Selective discharged into circumstances so dangerous and so corrosive that only the almighty power of God himself can change the atmosphere and direct the heavens to pour us with protection and grace.

For my trials and tribulations I will forever be grateful. How can I not be forever joyful of the God that is forever. Seasons change. I change. Yet God is the same.

Hallelujah to the God that protects and never changes. To God be the glory, dominion and power. Amen.

Faith during the storm ☔️

Trust me when I say Trust God – he works – he is good, legit good, holy and true. Your faith will not fail. Trust him and stop doubting him.

Numbers 23:19

God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?

I reflect on the places God has brought me – from North Carolina into many strange cities where I didn’t know anyone. Unto strange cities where I thought I knew someone – only to realize I knew them not. They loved me not and in worst case scenarios – they liked me not. I think back and one thing that remains unchanged is that God loved me.

James 1:17

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Unconditionally, consistently. His love for me didn’t wane even when my faith waned. When I found myself in terrible despicable pathways – he still loved me so. Guiding me and bringing me always back to his glory. I have declared a new peace for my life. To love God the way he has loved me – unconditionally. To put him where he always placed me – first. To do for him what he has done for me. Die. Serve. Offer up my first fruits the way he offered up his first son. God is good and God is holy. His way is good and perfect. To God be the Glory. Amen.
