Keyword – efficiency.

We each have fallen to a place where we deem ourselves inefficient. We don’t feel attractive enough 💇‍♂️rich enough 🛳successful enough 👨🏻‍🚀and it is in these false spirits of despair that the lion 🦁of evil lurks to devour and depression meets us.
The book of Haggai ✍🏼often overlooked is only 2 chapters written around 520 BC. Have you ever felt so small you too were overlooked? 🙆🏽‍♀️Yet this this tiny book packs a powerful punch 🤜 Haggai a minor prophet is pleading with God’s people to rebuild Gods temple and they in depression resist considering themselves too lethargic. 😪😴 What is the unfinished work in your life that you need to rebuild? 🧐

The people are rich 💵but don’t feel rich💵Have you listened in SHOCK 😳while someone with much privilege and opportunity yet is complains! Haggai tells the people: “you have sown much and bring in little.” Are you serving in ministry and or paying tithes but still feel no reward? 🥺

You block🙅🏽‍♂️ your reward when you doubt the reward. 💁🏻‍♀️God has promised to supply all your needs according to his riches 💎in glory 🧰by Christ Jesus but first you have to wholeheartedly believe in Christ Jesus. To delight not doubt in the Lord to receive the desires of your heart ❤️ In the very next book, we learn not to despise the day of small things. Don’t cry for the palace 🕍if you’re not willing to herd the sheep. 🐑

Fill the holes 🕳 in your bag 💼 with faith and let us not grow weary while doing good for in due season we shall reap 🌳 if we do not lose heart.
Everything you need to succeed has already been given to you. Will you complete your work? Will you rebuild the temple? 🥽

Take heed to David’s instruction to his son Solomon to construct the first temple. “Arise and be doing, the Lord is with you.” 🥾

Likewise I say to you. Cast off the spirit of doubt that conceives inefficiency. The Lord is your light 💡 and your salvation, who should you fear? The Lord is the strength 💪🏾of your life who should you be afraid? “Arise and be doing, the Lord is with you.”
