Don’t Sleep on God

When times get hard, level up with God. When tribulation rains down, praises (open expressions of faith) go up.

Psalm 113:3From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of the LORD is to be praised.

Whatever you do, don’t sleep on God.

I used to get so upset when things didn’t progress to my liking. In hastening attempts to be my own God, I falsely thought I needed to secure my own blessing.

First commandment, thou shalt have no other gods before me. By gods, we must include ourselves for when we are rebellious we worship our own will instead of obeying the will of Jehovah. Thus trials arrive to remind us the situation we are is bigger than ourselves, correspondingly, the deliverer is bigger than us.  Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the Lord gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.” Isaiah 12:2

But what happens when are deem ourselves actually walking right with God, not just Jonah trodding but Job in Uz walking, why then does God test us when we are serving him and no other false gods? Sometimes the blessing is the lesson.

Romans 5:3 King James Version (KJV) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience

You ever been so stressed that you non-function-able, until some larger level problem refocuses perspective – minimizing the then great thing into small thing? So when struggle arises we cannot fret.

Romans 8:28 All things good and bad work together for those that love and so. We rest in assurance that God is the ruler of all things and God is yet in charge of all things. High and mighty God is always right, always worthy to be praised.
